The aptly named Meat Mate provides chilled Australia-imported beef steaks, including most main cuts such as rib-eye, sirloin, oyster blade, tenderloin, shank, silverside, rump, and skirt. You simply pick your meat and pay depending weight. You can either take your meat away or have the store grill it for you for free.

There are also cheeses, sauces, seasonings, and Australian and Spanish wines to choose from.

Hffousa Taco serves a range of salads, burritos, nachos, tacos, and paninis as well as various burrito bowls.

Once tucked away near Dongsi Subway, Fruityshop has moved out east, securing a larger venue near to Chaoyang Joy City. However, the core experience remains the same: beers, a wooden interior, friendly staff, and of course, lots of vinyl make this place an inviting hangout irrespective of whether you're looking for a hidden gem or just want to kick back.

Owned by a Beijing food connoisseur, with the kitchen managed by a prized Hong Kong chef, it's no wonder there is a daily queue outside their three locations in Beijing (with more in the works).
