Oasis to Skip Beijing and Perform in Shanghai? Updated

Update: It seems that Oasis might be making it to Beijing after all. According to Emma/Ticketmaster, the Beijing-leg of the Oasis World Tour is 99% sure of going ahead. They refused to reveal a date or venue (City Weekend are going with Apr 3 at Capital Gymnasium), but assured us all will be made clear on Thursday when the official permit is due to arrive.

Shanghaiist recently noted that Oasis might be performing in Shanghai in April as part of their world tour. Although there is nothing up on the official Oasis site yet - closest we could find was the HK show on Apr 7 - Piao.com has the show listed as taking place on Apr 5 at Shanghai Grand Stage. Is this going to be another case of a major international act heading to Hong Kong and Shanghai but skipping Beijing?

Emma tickets officially announced the Oasis China Tour, this morning at 9am. The Beijing show will take place on Apr 3 at Capital Gymnasium. Tickets go on sale Feb 5 and prices range from RMB 200-1,600. More details here.

Oasis have also added the tour dates to their official site.
