Blood Drive this Weekend
Beijing United Family Hospital (BJU) has joined forces with the Chaoyang Blood Administration Center to organize a community blood drive at the Expat Show this weekend. Blood will be collected at the following times:
Friday, March 26: 12am-6pm
Saturday, March 27: 10am-6pm
Sunday, March 28: 10am-5pm
The hospital has said healthy people aged between 18-55 can donate, but please bring photo ID (photocopy or original). BJU also assures us all procedures follow international standards, and all donated blood goes to the Beijing Red Cross.
The Expat Show 2010 is at the China World Trade Center, 1 Jianguomenwai Dajie, Chaoyang.

Re: Blood Drive this Weekend
I am looking for a place to donate blood. I am an American who, until coming to China, has donated blood all my life. I am 75 years old and very healthy. Any suggestions?

Hi Beijing123,
Not sure why they told you that. Beijing United is definitely able to take blood donations from non-Chinese nationals.

At the annual Blood Drive in our company they always told me that foreigners are not allowed to donate blood in China.
