Tonight, (Friday, November 5) Centro is celebrating their seventh anniversary with a seven-piece band entertaining and the bar's ever-glamorous waitresses on hand to bring the drinks. It’s free – so what are you waiting for? Oh right, party starts 9pm.
In the mood for more grit and less glam? Get yourself over to School , just along from the Vineyard Cafe on Wudaoying Hutong, for Booty Shake. Belgian DJs Dave Luxe and Captain Weedo will be blending dirty house, electro tech and other genres electronic. Donkey Tonk and Mu Dirtydishes support. Free. 10pm.
Kick things off early on Saturday (November 6) with the Beijing Hilton Food & Wine Experience from 1pm till 8pm. There will be over 1,000 wines, food samples and even a buffet on offer. RMB 230.
In the mood for one last BBQ before we’re well and truly seeking refuge indoors this winter? The Green Cap Bar in Shunyi officially opens 6pm on Saturday, with a BBQ from 8pm. Let’s hope the clear skies prevail.
