A lot can happen in a year and Beijing’s culinary landscape is always changing. Consistency is key though, and these establishments were voted Restaurant of the Year for a reason. Here are the winners you voted for as well as some outstanding mentions.
Restaurant of the Year (Chinese)
Best: Da Dong "this is an excellent place to have quite spectacular Chinese food in a fancy setting."
Outstanding: Made in China, Grand Hyatt "Best service and food quality and presentation. Not the cheapest eatery but worth the money"
Outstanding: Haidilao "great dining experience - best we had so far in Beijing!"
Outstanding: Dali Courtyard "dining al fresco in their courtyard is one of those quintessentially "must-do" Beijing experiences"
Restaurant of the Year (Non-Chinese)
Best: Maison Boulud "In my foodie world of fine dining and great food Maison Boulud is my mecca."
Outstanding: Capital M "Best dessert platter ever – it was so good it practically put us in a coma. Their pavlova alone is reason enough to go back"
Outstanding: Mosto "I have nothing but great things to say as I have had almost everything on the menu... "
