From the tastes of Yunnan to fine dining Italian style, guest bartenders all the way from Thailand or a special Beijing duck collaboration, there are some enticing happenings this week in the capital's F&B scene. 

Guest Chef Ma Shaoan at San Wu Tang

The flavors of Yunnan will be coming to San Wu Tang from tomorrow (Feb 19) until Feb 28 thanks to Chef Ma Shaoan. The Chinese Executive Chef at Shangri-La, Kunming JEN Hotel Kunming, Ma is a native of Yunnan with 31 years of experience. You can expect to see some Yunnan classics like Crossing the Bridge Noodles along with a range of dishes featuring authentic Yunnan ingredients such as wild mushrooms, dried yak, pu'er tea and more. Guest Chef Fabio Falanga at Daccapo

Italian Chef Fabio Falanga will be putting on a special Seven-Course Dinner (RMB 666/person) at Daccapo this Thursday and Friday (Feb 20 and 21) from 6pm until 9.30pm. The meal will include dishes like Smoked Oysters with Champagne Foam, Carnaroli Risotto with Saffron, Slow-Roasted M5 Beef Tenderloin plus more delicacies. Bar.San. Guest Shift at Long Fong

Located in Chiang Mai, Thailand, Bar.San. has built up a reputation for their innovative cocktails, and this Thursday (Feb 20) you'll get the chance to try some of them for yourself! Bar.San.'s Chief Bartender Mali and Senior Bartender Ning will be doing a guest shift at Long Fong where they'll be mixing up five of their original cocktails for one night only. You can expect some of their signature creations, like twists on classic cocktails such as Ume Old Fashioned and Midori Sake Sour. "Brunch Up" Collab With Quanjude at N'JOY

NUO Hotel Beijing is teaming up with the famous Peking duck restaurant chain Quanjude for a special brunch this Sunday (Feb 23) at N'JOY. Part of their "Brunch Up" series, which takes place the last Sunday of every month, Qunajude will bring not only their Signature Roast Duck but also other dishes like Pineapple Duck and Quanjude Duck Noodles. Along with the exclusive dishes from Quanjude, diners can also enjoy N'JOY's usual array of brunch items such as a range of seafood, Southeast Asian dishes and much more. There will also be a live tuna carving performance, live music and free-flow beer, house wine and special cocktails. The brunch costs RMB 888/person and runs from 11.30am to 3pm.
