Capital Bites: Grinders Brunch, Yannick Alleno, Eudora Station, Lost Heaven and Little Nyonya
Grinders launched their new brunch menu over the weekend. The menu features ten four-egg omelets (all served with home fries) including the "Chad Lager" (bacon, garlic, mushrooms, parmesan and corn tortilla chips) and "Trevor's Fix" (chorizo, tomatoes and mozzarella). Omelets are all RMB 45-55.
There are also breakfast burritos, and an RMB 55 breakfast featuring three eggs, two sausages, two rashers of bacon, two slices of French toast and home fries. Mimosas for RMB 40, Bloody Mary pitchers for RMB 120, and bottomless coffee for RMB 22. Grinders has also changed its weekday business hours – they're now open from 3pm (when happy hour also starts) until 1am. Weekend hours are 10.30am-2am.
S.T.A.Y supremo Yannick Alleno is back in Beijing from March 15-17 and will be hosting a gala dinner in the Shangri-La restaurant on March 16. He'll be preparing dishes straight from the menu of Le Meurice, his three Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris. One for the Michelin star fanboys and girls.
Eudora Station is launching a new "Latin & Ladies Night" every Wednesday starting from March 14. The Greg Carroll band will provide the music, while ladies ordering food from the special Ladies' Night menu receive free drinks.
Yunnan restaurant Lost Heaven will be opening soon in Ch'ienmen 23, we're told. No date set yet, but you can enjoy some lovely photography on their website here.

CORRECTION: Little Nyonya
This post originally incorrectly stated that Little Nyonya would open in the Vantone Center.
Little Nyonya is in fact open on Laiguangying Donglu in Shunyi - the post has been amended to reflect that fact.
Apologies for any confusion caused.
