Call for Young Entrepreneurs: CBYA Forum Tonight!
Tonight, the China Britain Youth Association (CBYA) is hosting the Young Entrepreneur’s Forum, a panel discussion led by the founders of six up-and-coming companies in China, including Grace and Cherry of Aeris Magazine, Ethan Feng of Alpha Partners Education, Lexie Morris of The Lollipop Bakery (often credited with jump-starting this craze), Sam of Les+, Chris Winters of FarView Academic Consulting and Paul Afshar of Ijustwannabuy.com.
The press release calls it “an event which will inspire and connect like-minded young people in Beijing who want to pursue their own entrepreneurial ideas and ambitious.” To make it even more appealing for you young folks, the average age of the highly successful panel is just 26.4 years old, and the panelists come from a range of industries (media, education, food and beverage, and e-commerce).
Don’t expect just another talk on starting up a huge company – it sounds as if this roundtable discussion is rather about “taking the plunge” and “committing real resources to a business idea.” The price for accessing all this knowledge? Just 30 kuai – and that includes a free drink (house wines, juice, beer).
The event starts at 7.30pm at The Bookworm, but the CBYA requests that you arrive at 7pm. For more information, email beijing@cbya.org.uk or check out their Weibo, Facebook or LinkedIn.
