Weekend Live Music Roundup: Maybe She Will, Yunggiema and Buyi Birthday Celebrations

UK rockers Maybe She Will kick off the long weekend of musical offerings on Thursday. They've created quite a buzz in old Blighty and mark the end of the Queen's jubilee celebrations in Yugong Yishan. Elsewhere Super Bad Men & Be-gin provide a hit of pure punk at What Bar. And School Bar continues its series of acoustic sessions with an evening of unplugged rock from veteran Wang Wei.

On Friday folkster Yunggiema returns with a show at Mako Live House, while improvised psychadelica is the order of the night over at Hot Cat Club as Lame Goat & Skipskip Benben perform.

Saturday night features three unmissable shows. Of course you'll have to miss two of them, but which ones you do is your choice, and none of them should disappoint.

At What Bar you can opt for the folk musings of Li Dong. While punk rock is on offer at Temple from The Amazing Insurance Salesman. Failing those you could opt for a celebration of 17 years of Buyi as they mark the milestone at 2 Kolegas.

Then you can always see off the weekend with an afternoon matinee session at XP before heading over to the What Bar for a night of grunge to welcome in the new week.

Have a great weekend.
