Olympic Expedition: Day 46-52
After a relaxing week on the beach, the travelers have gone from three to five – and from public transport to a rental van. The guys started this week in Bulgaria and finished in Prague, and are now in the home stretch for getting to London by Friday.
A recap from their blog: “After traveling more than 10.000 km by bus, taxi, donkey chart, tractor, ballon [sic], boat, scooter or bike we finally have a car again. Our Brazilian friends Bruno and Lucas met us in Dubrovnik with a van they rented in Germany so we can travel together to London. Because we are three days late, we are going to drive long distances for the next days so we can arrive in London on time.”
Apparently, more is merrier. Now that their numbers have grown, the five guys are enjoying their road trip with the usual sightseeing, some more swimming and roadside barbecues. The one hiccup this week was a morning spent in a Budapest police station which "wasn’t Edgar’s fault."
See our interview with the guys from our July issue here.
