Mark Your Calendars: Beijing Restaurant Week Reservations Start Wednesday
Clear your schedule for Wednesday at 4pm. That way, you can be one of the first to make an online reservation for Dining City's second Beijing Restaurant Week, which runs from September 3 to 9. Bookings are limited, so you'd better start stretching that clicker finger now.
At the appointed time, head to Restaurantweek.cn to make your reservation. Participating restaurants will have two pricing schemes to choose from for their three-course menus: RMB 78 or RMB 118 for lunch and RMB 168 or RMB 248 for dinner. Dining City says they'll have 50 restaurants participating:
Inagiku
Agua
Ellingen Brauhaus
Bei, The Opposite House
C'est la vie
Capital M
Cepe, Ritz Carlton Financial street
Choy, Marriott Beijing North East
The Cut, Fairmont Beijing
Ganges (all three locations)
Yi House, Grace Beijing
Green T House
Green T House Living
Hatsune (Sanlitun and Guanghua Lu locations)

This is a splendid opportunity to save some money at those restaurants we've all been meaning to visit.
The first Beijing Restaurant Week, which took place back in March, was a hit, at least according to my stomach's estimation.

Re: Mark Your Calendars: Beijing Restaurant Week ...
Hi all,
We've been having trouble getting into it all day, too, but I eventually found an email in my inbox with a link to the booking website:
http://www.restaurantweek.cn/lang/zh/acc/newsletter
Then they prompted you to enter the "newsletterRW" promotion code (do me a favor and also sign up for the newsletter if you want to use this code, just so we're being honest).
Then you should be able to access the reservations. Unfortunately, Maison Boulud, Whampoa Club, Hatsune and Kagen are all sold out already. I haven't looked through it all thoroughly yet, but the menus I've seen haven't been quite that exciting. Of the ones left, Capital M should be good, and Agua's lunch is pretty generous.

Don't bother. Boulud and all the fancy restaurants were fully booked in minutes.

I also signed up for the newsletter and received a code, but I don't see where to enter it and book a table. Thanks for your help!

Advanced booking for Beijing Restaurant Week?
Just a note for all: We just signed up for the Restaurant Week newsletter on their site (linked above), which prompted them to release a code allowing us to reserve as soon as August 14 at 10am. Give it a try if you're eager to do some early booking!
