This is our definitive list of Halloween events in town over the Halloween period. We've trawled through a wealth of emails and listings to bring you this list of the best places to be this Halloween. Of course, we want to make sure that if you go to the trouble of dressing up like an idiot, it should be at least be worth it. If you know of any parties that we've left off our list, give them a shout out in the comments below, and we'll add it to our list.

MCF Quiz Night: Halloween!

Hell-o-ween
Spooky fun and drinks as well as a haunting selection of tracks from the resident DJs who will be banging windows and creaking doors on Friday and Saturday.

LAN Club's Spooky Halloween party weekend LAN Club used its newly refurbished lounge and bar areas to tempt DJ Franck to front their spooky Halloween celebration. Moreover, there are various Mediterranean ghosts from Ibiza set to land at LAN Club. Price TBD. 9.30pm–6am. LAN Club (5109 6012)

Friday October 26

S.T.D Halloween Party
Electro French underlord Surkin comes to Beijing accompanied by eight regular spinners at S.T.D's biggest party ever. With free shots throughout the night, S.T.D T-shirts and prizes for the best costumed. RMB 100. Time TBD. Lantern (135 0134 8785)

YEN Fetish Halloween

A Scarlett Halloween

Bali Costume Party

Blue Balcony Boo

Blue Frog Halloween Party

So exclusive, it's the only party we could find taking place days after the rest of us have finally managed to rub off the body paint. Also Electric Shadows still haven't recovered from the Rocky Horror debauchery of 2010 and so are hosting a relatively sedate screening of seminal zombie film, the still-scary NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD at the Hutong on Weds 31st at 7:30pm - with spiced pumpkin lattes and other sweet treats, this is the one to go to if you have work on Thursday morning and like us, you're old.
