Chinese Golfer, 12, Becomes Youngest Player on European Tour

Fresh on the heels of 14-year-old Guan Tianlang winning hearts and minds at The Masters, there's another Chinese golf prodigy to look out for ... and he's only 12.

OK, Ye Wocheng is only 12 years and 242 days but still he's younger than Lolita (in the 1962 film) and he has just played his first round of the Volvo China Open in Tianjin, becoming the youngest ever player on the European Tour in the process.

Despite shooting a hugely impressive 79 (which we can't manage around the 9-hole at Chaoyang Kosaido), he missed the cut for tomorrow's second round. You might not see history in the making but you can still get on the fast train to catch some fine golf over the next few days. Get your tickets for the Volvo China Open here.
