Classified of the Week: Coffee for Books

Beijing's diversity and Internet anonymity make for strange bedfellows. Nowhere is this more true than in our website's Classified Ads section. We've seen it all – and then some. And that doesn't even cover the ads we must disapprove because they just aren't fit for a good, clean, wholesome website like ours.

If you're a designer in the Guomao area, listen up. A group of caffeine-loving folks are setting up a 3D printing cafe for artists to have a space to come together and share ideas. They're looking for used titles on design-related topics to fill their cafe, and in exchange, they'll make you coffee. Not a bad trade, if you ask me.

We've yet to find out their plan for the 3D printers, but they've been a hot item in Beijing lately. The Beijing Exhibition Center was recently home to a trade show featuring 3D printers and other industrial technologies. You can check out the photos here.
