Holiday Bazaar Season in Full Swing This Weekend

Not filled your holiday loot bag yet? Never fear -- we're midway through Holiday Bazaar season and there's a lot more shopping to be done. Here's the list of what's left of this year's chunky holiday bazaar season in Beijing for 2013:

The annual Hilton Beijing Christmas Tree Lighting and Train Launch Ceremony will be taking place today (Saturday, Nov 30). If you are into model trains or the Yuletide spirit, the Hilton has it in spades. A 65 square landscape will blow the minds of adults and children alike. There's also a Charity Bazaar to help you fill the space under the tree this year. German Christmas Charity Bazaar The German Embassy opens its doors to the public once a year for its Christmas bazaar where people can get a chance at early shopping of some homemade crafts and enjoy a few caroling performances. The only drawback is that there is a long line of people wanting to get in. Please take your passport with you. BCIS/MCF Christmas Bazaar This year, the joint Beijing City International School and the Migrant Children Foundation will have over 60 Christmas shopping stalls with a range of products, a Christmas tree lighting ceremony, a raffle draw, wine tasting also live music and performances by the kids from both MCF and BCIS. Kids activities/area: children’s corner and entertainment such as arts and crafts and a visit from Santa. BSB Sanlitun Christmas Fayre The British School of Beijing's annual Christmas Fayre is an annual charity fund raiser with stalls selling wonderful gifts and tasty treats. The Hutong Christmas Fayre The Hutong Christmas Fayre will have a “warm-winter” theme and they will be serving piping hot cups of vin brulé. This is for the last-minute shopper who still has not found that rare gem to give during Christmas from Affordable Art, BJ Postcards, Great Leap Brewery, Hani Coffee, Hummingbird Spa, Le Fromager de Pekin, Lollipop Cupcakes, Puddington Pies, Shangrila Farms, Tai Tai, Tea Journeys, Tutextiles, Viaggio Scarves, and more.
