Talking Entertainment: The Ultimate Reality Show, Panda Vision!

Check out the cutest reality show ever, Panda Cam! Streaming live from the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, watch as these pandas spend their time being ridiculously adorable 24 hours a day. They love to tumble, romper around, and chow on some bamboo, probably just as much as we love to watch them doing those things. It kinda makes me wish I had one of those new smart TVs, so I could leave it streaming all day for extra cute ambiance in my rather bland apartment.

In other related news about capturing the essence of innocence on camera, Dad, Where Are We Going? is a certified box-office smash. On its opening day last Friday Jan 31, the film earned over 90 million yuan ($15 million USD), thus breaking the record for single day earnings of a non 3D Chinese-language motion picture. Originally a television series which focused on the relationship between celebrity dads and how they bond with their kids (ages 4-5), it became extremely popular with over 600 million viewers tuning in each week. Part of its appeal is that the program provides an informative and entertaining view of modern Chinese families, and when forced into competitive or fish out of water scenarios, comedy ensues.

With our entertainment value at stake, we expect more great programming to come out from the Chengdu Breeding Research Base.

Here are some more arts and entertainment events to fill up your week:
