Talking Entertainment: China's PLA Pilots Fly Into The Danger Zone "Top Gun" Style

Marking the 65th anniversary of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) navy, their PR department decided to release this little piece of cinematic gold. Featuring high octane jet lift offs and hard bodied pilots getting their pump on, this little slice of Bruckheimer is going viral with currently over four million hits.

This video was made by the state-owned Aviation Industry Corporation of China, and meant to spark interest among young people to maybe consider a career in the military. Who doesn't like lifting weights and flying jets all day?

I am not sure if it's really healthy to be pumping iron in such close proximity to jet fuel fumes, but maybe I'm just paranoid or partial to weight training in boring places with conditioned air. These guys are cut though and most likely don't have the time to venture deep in the ship's hull to do a couple reps before suiting up and lifting off.

Tibetan singer Rong Zhong Er Jia is featured heavily throughout, performing a little number specially commissioned by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China called Lead the Dream. It is a beautiful voice, and a big contrast to the Katie Perry or Kid Rock we are accustomed to in the states. Check out the video below.
