EAT: Super Sale Steals at Epermarket and Half Price Calzones and Beer at Bottega

As much as we love browsing Beijing's growing number of organic and local markets, more often than not we find we prefer shopping from the comfort of the couch through sites like Epermarket (not to mention not having to carry the shopping home). As if you needed any more of an incentive, Epermarket are currently having a huge spring sale, with many items including Elders sausagescheese, coffee, wine, and liquor  up to 80 percent off

Furthermore, every time you spend RMB 300, your name will be entered into a prize draw to win prizes including a five day, four night trip to Japan for two people, two RMB 10,000 Epercard (Epermarket gift cards), and 10 Philips Car and Desk Nav Air Purifiers. Get shopping!

The folks behind Neapolitan pizza restaurant Bottega have made quite a name for themselves since they opened earlier this year, both for their tasty pizzas and fun, stylish space. Capitalizing on that success, they are now also open for weekend lunches, so you can bid goodbye to those Friday and Saturday night hangovers with that perfect partnership of carbs and cheese. They also have a pretty sweet deal on Monday nights, featuring half price calzones and half price Stella Artois draft.

Over on Dashibei Hutong, The Meatball Company are throwing a grand opening party for their first bricks and mortar location this Sunday, May 17. Expect DJs, RMB 20 meatball subs (these things are colossal btw), and two-for-one sangria pitchers. Read our first glance of The Meatball Company here.

And finally, following the wash out that was last weekend, Tube Station has decided to give their Wudaoying Delivery Station launch a second go around this Sunday (May 17). Same deal as last time – 5 kuai slices of the good stuff, free beer/soda refills for anyone who buys a whole pie, and killer music provided by our very own kid of cool DJ Cousin Kippy. Head down between 4-8pm. Rain, rain, go away!
