Australia & New Zealand Ball Postponed to Saturday, March 5

The Australia & New Zealand Ball has been postponed from Saturday, January 23, to Saturday, March 5, due to visa issues encountered by headliner Mental As Anything.

Despite the date change, all other arrangements for the Ball remain the same, and all tickets will be honored on the day.

"Of course, if this new date is no longer convenient for you, we will refund your ticket and you should contact the Austcham office at events@austcham.org in order to make the necessary arrangements. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience the change may have caused," Austcham said in an emailed statement.

"Otherwise, for current ticket holders, all other details, including the start time and entertainment on offer will remain the same.

"We would like to thank the team at the Australian Embassy for their tireless assistance in this matter and also our sponsors: British School of Beijing, Shunyi; BlueStar AMG; Dulwich College Beijing; LehmanBrown; Meat & Livestock Australia-True Aussie Beef & Lamb; Mort & Co; Qantas; the Beijinger and, last though not least, the Sofitel Wanda Beijing for their flexibility and ongoing support for the Chamber."

Australian new wave band Mental As Anything will make their China debut as the feature act at the 2016 Australia & New Zealand Rock and Roll Ball, to be held Saturday, March 5, at the Sofitel Wanda Beijing.
