Mindful eating? Pausing to journal? In the middle of dinner, I'm supposed to write Dear Diary?

On the other hand, I AM used to being aware of triggers. How else am I going to bag that pronghorn if I don't goose my Model 70's trigger just the right way. Oh dear. Did I upset someone? The wellness facilitator is gagging and the guests are rushing the exits. Hey! s'OK. Never mindful me!

You seem to be completely unaware of what is mindfulness. It's exactly the opposite of opening up your journal. Do some mindful research, might actually be useful then.
