Evil Twin Brewing at Zhujingban
Jiaodaokou's Zhujingban is gearing up for their latest guest beer, this time a huge showing from Denmark's Evil Twin Brewing. Known as a "gypsy brewery," Evil Twin was founded by Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø and is unique for having not operated an official brewery until the opening of their first brick and mortar brewery in Queens, New York City. Until that time, they collaborated with other brewers around the world to produce – very highly rated – limited-edition, out-there beers. Now, a whopping 39 of those beers are heading to Zhujingban for you to enjoy between May 1 and June 30. Head down this Friday, 7pm onwards, to sample their new wine list as well as non-boozy and new boozy concoctions, including an osmanthus sour (pictured above), pineapple coconut mojito, and an "Anna," all for RMB 40 a glass. There'll be DJs on hand who'll undoubtedly have the whole crowd up and dancing by the end of the night. The party also marks the launch of their new daily happy hour, 4-8pm, which includes RMB 35 draft beers; RMB 40 glasses, or 20 percent off bottles, on wine and prosecco; and RMB 40 cocktails between 6-8pm. On launch day, get special discounts either by whispering the password "Daxiao Made, Jing-A Brewed" to receive a free glass of their Twin Hop Policy (until stocks last) or cough up RMB 99 and choose a combination of any three beers. Or, ya know, do both! Get the full details here.
