Van Gogh Alive at Dewey Center
October kicks off the two month-long Van Gogh Alive exhibit at the Dewey Center. Visitors will be witness to the legend's work like never before as his most famous pieces are blown up to huge proportions, providing an immersive visual and audio experience as classical music plays throughout. Material Tales at Cafa
Another large-scale undertaking by CAFA, this exhibit will show more than 100 classics alongside 30 works of pioneering contemporary Chinese artists, all in exploration of what the overexploitation of resources has done to the earth. CAFA Art Museum, 2A Gallery. Until Oct 17.
Foreign Objects at X Museum
The work of Norwegian-German artist Yngve Holen has come to Beijing for his first solo exhibition in Aisia. The exbibit of more than 30 of his works explores industrial manufacturing and other industries that leave behind mass debris. X Museum. Until Dec 5.
Street of Eternal Happiness at Ying Space
Ying Space in Caochangdi is showing the work of long-time friends Ding Yi, Feng Lianghong, and Yu Youhan in this abstract exhibition named after Yu's studio from the 1980's
