The National Day holiday is right around the corner, and one way to treat yourself if you're not traveling outside Beijing is with a nice hotel staycation.

Staycation at Artyzen Habitat Dongzhimen Beijing

Art plays a major role at Artyzen Habitat, hence why it’s in the name. The entire hotel, down to the rooms and hallways, boasts pieces of art with each being different from the next. Autumn Stay Delights at the Four Seasons Hotel Beijing

Four Seasons Beijing has made their staycation package particularly indulgent: room stays come complete with a substantial breakfast and a picnic basket you can take with you to enjoy out along the Liangma River. Expect selected light food and delicate desserts that will brighten up autumn along the “Siene of Beijing”.

Four Seasons is also treating families over the holiday, with their special Autumn “Kids-On-Us” Staycation package. Available from Oct 1 to Oct 7, a room stay includes a complimentary family movie (schedule below in Chinese) or one kids fun camp class per night, complimentary breakfast at Opus Lounge for two adults and one child (12 and under), complimentary daily afternoon tea and unlimited drinks at the Executive Club Lounge for guests who book a Club Room or above, and access to their fitness facilities and pool.

Safari @ Urban Forest with Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing x UCCA Lab

Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing is teaming up with UCCA Lab in 798 for a special Kids’ Staycation package. From now until Oct 16, families of three can book the Safari @ Urban Forest staycation to enjoy three tickets to the Playful World of Eric Carle exhibition at UCCA Lab. Sofitel Staycation and Massage Package

National Day Staycation at the InterContinental Beijing Sanlitun

The Westin has two special packages for the holiday week. First there's the "Shanhe Brocade" package, which includes a two day, one night stay in a Deluxe Room with buffet for two on the day of check-in. The second is the "Suiyue Fenghua" package, which includes a two day, one night stay in a Deluxe Room with two meals on the day of check-in.

National Day Aviation Experiential Activities at Kerry Hotel

Kerry Hotel is taking to the skies for National Holiday with a series of activities aimed at teaching kids the ins and outs of aviation and planes. Along with a series of lectures and an "Air Force Recruitment Experience" package, in which children can learn about flying and what it takes to be in the air force from former air force pilots, as well as activites like drone building and special VR flight and space walk activities.

Included with the deal is a special family staycation package starting at RMB 1,638 per night. This includes daily breakfast for two adults and one child, access to the hotel's Children's Adventure Park, and the ability to participate in the Aviation Experience Activities. What's more, for an extra RMB 150, families can stay in the Children's Fun Theme Room, complete with small tents, decorations and more.
