Save the Date – It’s Wine Time at CHEERS Summer Fest, Sep 9-10
Come September it’s going to be wine o’clock for two full days when the CHEERS Summer Fest comes to town!
Happening from Sep 9-10 at Dongyue Square, THE BOX Youth Energy Center near Chaoyangmen, the CHEERS Summer Fest is bringing together not just wine from everyone’s favorite Beijing wine and spirits store, CHEERS Wines, but a plethora of other vendors as well.
Anyone who’s been to a Beijinger festival will have seen that CHEERS Wines are always in attendance, bringing top-quality wines from various countries, carefully prepared cocktails and buckets of energy and fun, so you know the CHEERS Summer Fest is going to be one weekend you don’t want to miss!
It’ll be a casual event where people can gather to experience good wine in good company, and perhaps meet new friends and new favorite wines while they’re at it.
Tickets
Tickets for the fest can either be brought in advance or at the door and there is also a VIP pass available:
Standard Ticket (RMB 39) – includes entry, a “wine passport” – you can try ten wines for free – plus a special wine glass holder necklace, allowing you to drink with ease from booth to booth.
VIP Pass (RMB 199) – includes all of the above plus access to the VIP seating area, one exclusive high-quality wine tasting (60 mins) and two JSS vouchers.

So, how does the wine passport work? Well, you can pick any ten wines from all of the wine vendors to try for free. When you taste a wine simply rank it in the mini program and once you’ve collected all ten stamps you can redeem the passport for a CHEERS branded wine opener as a gift. Please note that the tasting pass is not transferable or exchangeable for money and is only valid for the duration of the event.
Wine Tasting for VIPs
CHEERS' wine tasting for VIPs session is where the art of viticulture meets storytelling. During the sessions, you will have the privilege of opening four exceptional wines, presented to you by an esteemed foreign winemaker and a certified Chinese WSET 3 expert. Together, they will guide you through a sensory journey, unraveling the rich tastes and captivating tales behind each bottle.
Vendors
Now for the question on everyone’s lips, what wineries will be showcasing their best bottles at the fest? There will be 14 internationally renowned wineries at the event with 100 different wines to try from 12 countries ranging from France to South Africa, to Chile and beyond. Along with the huge variety of wines, there will be experienced staff on hand to help talk you through them.

Entertainment
CHEERS Summer Fest is like a European-style wine party, which is a lot different than a traditional wine tasting where you would sit somberly around a table tasting wines.
Instead, you can expect a fun, casual wine experience where friends can enjoy great wines and get tipsy together all while enjoying great entertainment! Think dancing, music, games and even more kinds of fun to accompany all of the top-quality wine.

The venue for CHEERS Summer Fest is THE BOX Youth Energy Center, a new super trendy spot located close to Chaoyangmen that’s the perfect place for a fest.
