Bookings for Spring 2025 Restaurant Week Are Now Open

Restaurant Week is back with its first edition for 2025! For those not in the know, Restaurant Week is a biannual event put on by Dining City that sees numerous restaurants across Beijing and other cities across China offering up delectable set menus at amazingly discounted prices.

Bookings are now open for the Spring 2025 edition, which will run from tomorrow, Mar 12, until Apr 6, and yes, we know that’s actually almost a month, not a week, but hey, you won’t hear us complaining about having longer to enjoy the deals!

This time around, just under 200 restaurants/restaurant branches are participating, offering exclusive menus at special fixed prices, with four price categories to choose from:

Elite: Price determined by restaurants
Category A: RMB 148 for lunch and RMB 298 for dinner
Category B: RMB 118 for lunch and RMB 198 for dinner
Category C: RMB 78 for lunch and RMB 118 for dinner

These promotional prices allow you to dine in some of the top restaurants in the city, which otherwise can be quite expensive. You can filter restaurants through a variety of categories such as “Fine Dining,” “New Joiners” or “Best Value,” or filter results by a specific cuisine or price category.

Included in this year’s participating restaurants are 22 Michelin Star- or Black Pearl-awarded restaurants, so if you’ve had your eye on one, now is the time to go! They've also got an impressive 45 “New Joiners,” which are eateries joining Restaurant Week for the first time. Here, we’ve picked out a few of our personal recommendations to try.

Le Coq

Earlier this year, the Le Coq group opened their first Beijing Le Coq Wine & Bistro store in Taikooli. Specializing in French fusion food, they'll be offering Category B lunch and dinner sharing menus for two.* Both sets include a breadbasket, appetizers, two soups, two mains and dessert, plus side for the dinner set. Options include dishes from a variety of cuisines, like Thai Sour Shrimp Soup, Australian Grain-Fed Sirloin and Handmade Basque Burnt Cheesecake.

Le Coq Wine & Bistro

Charcoal

When Charcoal opened up in 2022, we were very impressed with their creativity, and concept of “food without borders.” During Restaurant Week they'll be offering a Category A dinner sharing menu for two.* On the menu, they've got a few of their larger dishes, such as Basil Fried Rice and Cuttlefish Risotto, along with plenty of their signature grilled dishes like Grilled Baby Squid and Skirt Steak.

Dastaan Restaurants

This time around, all three of Dastaan's restaurants will be participating in Restaurant Week, all with Category B lunch and dinner sets. The menu options differ at each of the restaurants, but all include a welcome drink, appetizer, starter, main dish and dessert. A few dishes to watch out for are the Purani Delhi Wali Murgh Makhani (Old Delhi-style butter chicken), available at all restaurants, as well as Rabiul’s Signature Chicken Tikka, which you can get in the lunch set at Mumbai Impression and dinner set at Bollywood Tales.

White Tiger Village

Yunnan restaurant White Tiger Village is joining Restaurant Week for the first time, and they'll be offering Category A dinner sharing menu for two.* The dinner sets are eight-courses with options like Snapper With Yunnan Green Curry, Charcoal Beef Ribs With Wild Pepper and Baby Aubergine with Fermented Chilli. You also have the option to add on two glasses of Special Natural Wine for RMB 158.

White Tiger Village

Rôti by Flo

Following renovations last year that saw the addition of a large in door dining area, Rôti by Flo is now open all year round, so you can experience French Riviera summer vibes even during the colder months! This Restaurant Week, Rôti will be doing a Category A dinner set with a starter, main, dessert and wine. Choices include some of their signature dishes, like Half Roasted Chicken with Truffle & Foie Gras Stuffing and Caramelized Shallots; Roasted Whole Dried Threadfin with Herb Salad and Muhammara; and Seared Tiger Prawn Boston Salad, Avocado and Citrus.

Rôti by Flo
