Candy Cafe is a handy neighborhood coffee shop providing simple staples like sandwiches, salads, pizzas and cakes. The menu is limited to around five choices per section, but Candy’s virtue is its convenience for nearby residents, rather than any appeal to people traveling across town looking to try something new. Coffees run at RMB 15-25, with a small selection of beers, wines and other alcoholic drinks. The cafe has a friendly, student cafe-type atmosphere, complete with multicolored seating, wood fittings and a large plasma-screen TV (function unclear as it was switched off on our visit). Wi-Fi and relative quiet should keep laptop novelists happy. Delivery is available, albeit within a small radius.
