Just an hour drive away from Beijing lies Chenjiapu Village (陈家堡), a beautiful valley with an unrestored section of the Great Wall. Families can take a tour, as well as chat and dine with the Chens, one of the farmer families that has been living there since the Wall was constructed. Enjoy homemade dishes made from the Chen's organic vegetable farm. Dishes include everything from dandelion leaves to spring willow shoots and fresh spring onions.
