This simple yet elegant Japanese restaurant is all about quality and taste, which in turn means higher prices. The interior is made up of a group of small private rooms featuring a teppenyaki grill as the centerpiece (hence the restaurant's suitability for group dinners), and regulars give the entertainingly prepared (by a private chef) and artistically presented food high ratings. Seafood offerings include a selection of sashimi (the salmon sashimi is a must order), fresh sushi rolls and king prawns, while the teppanyaki meals are topped off with fresh salad and delicious servings of fried rice. Good selection of sake as well. Haru also provides private cooking lessons at home with your own personal sushi chef. Lessons last for 1.5 hours, and the chef will come to your home with his assistant and help you cook a customized menu that you design prior to the class. Learn how to make Maki hand rolls, sushi and sashimi with a group of up to ten of your closest friends and family. The necessary ingredients will be provided at cost.
