Bus: Take Bus 916快 from Dongzhimen long-distance bus station to the last stop, at Huairou. Taxis should cost around RMB 50 to Fairyland and RMB 120 to Huanghouzhen.
Car: Take the Jingcheng Expressway to Huairou Chengqu / Jingmi Lu Exit (No. 14). Take National Road G101 to Kaifang Roundabout (开放环岛), where you turn onto National Road G111 (Fengning 丰宁), which merges into Jingjia Lu (京加路). Follow Jingjia Lu for 3-4 km and look for a Xiazhuang (下庄) sign at an intersection. This indicates the location of the original Yanqi Roundabout. Turn left onto Fanqi Lu (范绮路). Fairyland is 15km down Fanqi Lu, and Huanghouzhen 40km.
