Small, tastefully designed and equipped with the ever-popular rotary sushi belt (items priced from RMB 6-28), this Shuangjing-area restaurant could do with an on-site bathroom (as it is, you’ve got to hike across the plaza) but scores points for its contemporary design, subdued service and partially open kitchen with sushi chefs clad in Hawaiian shirts. Alongside the typical sashimi platters (RMB 48-78) and other Japanese standards you’ll find rolls clearly inspired by Hatsune (RMB 48-68); Taiwanese-style bubble teas (RMB 16-18) and mango/strawberry ice shakes (RMB 22). The odd Western item, such as a feta cheese salad (RMB 38) and caramel custard for dessert (RMB 12), also provides variety.
