Kushinosato 串之乡

This tiny, uncluttered and bustling eatery exclusively serves 40 kinds of Japanese style chuan'r, called kushiage, in hassle free fashion. Simply nab yourself a spot at the bar, sip your sake, and eat your fill of a variety of delights-on-a-stick. Chefs keep the kebabs a-coming until you tell them to stop. The selection on offer includes a squid and pork combo, octopus wrapped in bacon, battered pumpkin and a bafflingly tasty deep fried ice cream. The emphasis here is clearly on the food (the restaurant claims that all vegetables used are organic and they have great sake (served in pinewood boxes rimmed with sea salt) to boot.
