Extra “o” notwithstanding, “Loong” is Chinese for dragon – and that’s exactly what you’ll find at the JW Marriott’s bar. China’s most revered symbol is used to great effect all over the interior, with dragon-inspired paintings, sculptures, and even a nacre bar that unravels like the creature of legend. Step up to the bar and request the Loong signature cocktail or some pink champagne, as well as plenty more cocktails and other drinks. Australian gypsy flamenco band Gitanos play throughout August – just one more reason to “enter the dragon” and slay a few drinks.
