Of the several Japanese restaurants in Guandongyuan area, this ramen spot is surely the smallest. There's only one table, taking up almost the entire room, although they do find space for a shelf of whiskey and sake. The restaurant's signature ramen is served in a rich, earthy tonkotsu (pork bone) broth with marinated bamboo, scallions, bean sprouts, cabbage, a soft-boiled egg and slices of luscious pork. The "salt" ramen in chicken broth is a smoother, more delicately-flavored alternative. I'll go back to try the fried chicken or gyoza dumplings - unless I'm full from exploring Guandongdian's other Japanese restaurants.
