Qingjiu is a cozy sushi bar in Maizidian with floor-to-ceiling windows and several private dining rooms for groups. The thick menu includes sashimi, tempura, grilled seafood, sukiyaki, and sea urchin hot pot (RMB 298). Some of the more special fish items are delivered several times throughout the week directly from Nagasaki.
Aside from the à la carte menu, choose from a range of kaiseki options (set menu, RMB 380/580/980) and let the chef guide you through seasonal delicacies. They also offer lunch sets (RMB 58-168), including popular options like eel with rice (RMB 158), sushi set (RMB 168), and salmon rice set (RMB 98), which all come with side dishes, a salad, egg custard, soup, and dessert.
In contrast to the food menu, the sake menu is a slim selection of carefully chosen rice wines, with a number of quality Daiginjo-shu varieties from Dassai.
