Hot & Spicy 2020 Begins TODAY! Clear Skies and Fiery Bellies Projected All Day

Yes, it's actually happening! The flaming fiesta that is Hot & Spicy Festival begins TODAY at 3pm and goes until 9pm, an evening of incredible treats that cause intolerable mouth heat, plus live music and other entertainment. If you haven't nabbed your tickets yet, grab them online or simply show up at the gate and pay RMB 30. Then, the party continues through the weekend with more peppery plates and burning beverages on Saturday and Sunday, 11am-8pm.

This is the first year that the Beijinger has begun the fest on a Friday. Thankfully, the great chilis in the sky have smiled down on us – skies as clear as your sinuses are projected to persist all day today! 

In case you haven't heard, Hot & Spicy 2020 will honor the country of Mexico, home of some of the best spicy food in the world – plus, spicy food from China, Turkey, and the US, and around the world will be at your fingertips. Once you've filled up, grab a drink to wash it down. There will be plenty to choose from, including a wide variety of brews from local fave, Jing-A as well as the world-famous Brooklyn Brewery.
