Slow Boat and Mona Bar Team Up for an Artsy Weekend, Sep 17

Cooler weather is slowly creeping back into the capital once again, but that doesn’t mean summer is gone just yet. The folks at Slow Boat agree, and to celebrate the last bit of Summer ’22, they’ve teamed up with Mona Bar & Grocery in Longfusi to pull together a day of art and other fun this Saturday.

And they’ve got a lot in store on the art side of things. Along with a small market featuring works of art and other things you can take home, tattoo and body art is available with the purchase of a beer, and there is the opportunity to take a few film photos with cameras provided by FilmNeverDie.

Of course, there will be ample refreshments available as well. Slow Boat will be bringing a few seasonal offerings on tap – namely the Helmsman’s Honey Ale, Hard Seltzer and Monkey’s Fist IPA – all for RMB 35 a glass. Plus, if beer isn’t your thing, Mona will be on hand slinging up a few signature cocktails throughout the event.

Slow Boat x Mona Bar’s An Autumn Romance of Art + Film will be taking place at Mona Bar (address below) tomorrow, Saturday, Sep 17 from 3pm onwards. Entry to the event is free.
