Kashgar Restaurant 喀什饭庄

One of the best Uygur restaurants in the city offers a variety of cumin-spiced roast mutton, hand-pulled noodles, freshly baked nang and a variety of other authentic Kashgar-style snacks in a setting that simulates a Central Asian bazaar. The Kashgar roast mutton leg and da pan ji (big plate chicken) are winners, as are the agreeable prices. The Xuanwu district location off the southwest Second Ring road may be a bit of a hike for east enders, but the authenticity and prices are well worth the trek.
