Veteran Indian restaurant Punjabi has been a strong and steady fixture in Beijing's F&B scene for the past decade with a focus on tandoor-roasted meats. As part of their 10 years' anniversary revamp, management has added a deli specializing in on-the-go dishes on the first floor, such as vegetarian options and vegan burgers, as well as sandwiches, wraps, and grilled rolls (available via Sherpa's).
Weekday lunch sets run Mon-Fri, 11.30am-2pm for RMB 70 as well as Mon and Thu, 6-9pm for dinner sets, featuring live Punjabi Bhangra dance performances. Vegetarians will want to head along for RMB 98 Meatless Mondays, and drinkers on RMB 98 Thirsty Thursdays (6-9pm).
