First Glance: Hercules, Xingfucun

Hercules has opened yet another store, this time in Xingfucun, neighbouring La Tavernita and April Gourmet. This two-floor store is barely one month old, and carries much the same menu as the one in Indigo Mall near the 798 Art District. Hercules specializes in gourmet sandwiches and coffee, but also does cocktails.

The atmosphere is tastefully edgy and very warm. Kudos for its Christmas spirit.

Hercules serves breakfast all day and has a "caffeine hour" from 2pm to 5pm, where you can get unlimted regular coffee for RMB 20. It also does your stock standard two-for-one happy hour between 4pm and 8pm for all cocktails and house wines.

Noteable mentions from its menu are the Wasabi Egg Baguette, Kiwi Cucumber Martini, Toffee Nut Latte and the Godiva hot chocolate. Sandwiches go for around RMB 35 and cocktails are RMB 50.
