JUE Festival is kicking off this week and they’re rolling things out with Warm Up To Jue Market this Sunday at Houshan in BC Moma. The market will include vendors from creative businesses around the city but also live music, art installations and lots of prizes to be won. Here are some of the goodies to expect.

  • Unique urbanwear by NLGX
  • Beer from Great Leap Brewing

  • Handmade letterpress cards from Paper Pounder Press

  • Honey, coffee and crafts from Shangrila Farms
  • Tavalin Bagels and Two Guys and a Pie
  • Video installations/screenings by Solveig Suess and Electric Shadows
  • Live bodypainting performance from Nina Griffee
  • Live eco-friendly paintings by Guillermo Memuco
  • Local musicians Elenore, Contraplans, Nino and Little Punk

With a market packed full of this much fun, who needs a festival at all?
