China’s Top Ten Tech Earners

The always readable Steven Millward over at the Tech In Asia blog has posted a great list: China’s top ten tech companies by revenue. Why do I emphasise this last point ? It shows up which companies are actually pulling in the big bucks, rather than those which get commentators or stock markets all a-flutter. We all know about “the Sina Weibo effect” and how WeChat is really getting big. But have Sina and Tencent managed to monetize their efforts? Who is it that’s figured out how to get your average Zhou to part with their hard-earned RMB for digital products?
