Do You Have What It Takes to Be Beijing’s Next Top Model?

Sign-ups for the chance to be Beijing’s Next Top Model closed last Friday, May 20. But the real competition has yet to begin.

Tomorrow evening at 7pm at Hilton Beijing’s Zeta Bar, twelve women – all between the ages of 18-28, and all with “the face and figure [Toni and Guy] is looking for” – will be strutting their stuff on an illuminated catwalk.

The finalists were handpicked based on their photo applications to participate in a makeover styled entirely by Toni and Guy Hilton Beijing, which they’ll unveil during the fashion show. Winners win prizes ranging from a modeling contract in the next Jaguar Auto Show to a year of free hairstyling at Toni & Guy Hilton Beijing salon.

The stakes are high … so where does the fate of these poor, gorgeous women lie? On the whims of a mysterious panel of judges. (One of them has fantastic taste, though. Or so we hear.)

A glamorous after-party commences at 9pm, which we’re promised will be well-attended by media, fashion elites and beautiful people.

Your ticket to this fierce event? Only RMB 150 – and that includes a free cocktail or soft drink. Now, if only Tyra Banks would show up …
