The Beijinger Reader Restaurant Awards: TED, Chopschticks, and Winners

After a month of voting the results of The Beijinger’s Reader Restaurant Awards are in and will be announced later today. Lucky voters that won tickets to the party will hear it in person, but for anyone else, just keep an eye on our site where we'll reveal the winners, and to keep you occupied until then, check out this talk by today’s guest speaker.

The 8th Annual Restaurant Awards takes place at the Renaissance Beijing Capital Hotel kicking off at 3, with more than just the long-awaited results. The guest speaker for the ceremony will be New York Times journalist, writer, and TED talk speaker Jennifer 8. Lee. Check out her talk about Chinese-American food (or American Chinese food) in “Jennifer 8. Lee hunts for General Tso.”

In addition to Jennifer, the Awards will be hosted by comedian and creator of the comedy series Chopschticks, Richard Robinson, and feature music from the Jackson Twins & Zero.

And of course, the winners of Beijing’s best dining in 44 categories.
