Free Books on Facebook: Penguin's Feeling Generous ... Again

If you're reading this on a Friday night, you probable like to read. And, you're probably on Facebook. How convenient!

Penguin China is moving offices, and has a nice big box of used books they'd love to give away. Just visit their facebook page and "like" them. They'll ask for your China-based mailing address, and soon you'll be receiving a book or two.

Our penguin rep would like to point out that giftees will not be able to choose what books they get, or how many. (It'll be one ... or two. Pretty simple.) They'll range from Dickens' Bleak House, to Nick Hornby's A Long Way Down, to nonfiction books as well. And it'll only go on for as long as supplies last. So get on with it.

And for those of you who'd love a good book to land on your doorstep, but can't (or won't) get on Facebook - I'm told you do exist, the Beijinger's got a little handout from Penguin just for you. First few to regale us with tales of your conspiracy theories about Facebook will get a book mailed to you from us from Penguin. Capisce?
