Killers Update: Refunds Now Available

On Friday we reported the Killers Asian tour, including their appearance at Beijing’s Workers Gymnasium tomorrow (Tuesday, January 26), had been canceled. The promoters Live Nation have now officially stated the tour will not go ahead “due to unforeseen circumstances involving a serious illness of a close family member.” The Live Nation statement also says the band hopes “to reschedule their shows soon,” though this runs counter to reports in the American media that the band are taking a break for the foreseeable future. In any case, refunds are now available for the canceled Beijing concert.

Until Wednesday, February 10 patrons can return to their point of purchase with their tickets from 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, and receive a cash reimbursement.

From February 11 to March 10 refunds will only be available during weekday business hours at the Mypiao office (C-205, Meihui Building, No.58 Dong Zhong Street, Dong Cheng District; 010-6585 5755) or from the Live Nation office in Gehua Tower (Rm 516, Gehua Tower A, No.1,Qinglong Hutong, Dongcheng District; 010-8418 6500).
