Review of Kagen
As far as tepanyaki goes, the food was perfect and the cook attentive. The place is clean classy albeit on my visit, there were playing marriachi music which for some odd reason seemed completely out of place to me.
anyways, is 3 years of eating out in Beijing, this was the most expensive meal I had here and the worst one for value. I don't dispute they're good but the bill for 5 folks with no alcohol added up to 400RMB pp.
I think there is better to be had in the city and would rather hit Tayro next time.
Nothing against you kagen... but then again, I'm probably not part of their target demographic. I fit more in Tayro..
