My Italian co-worker is picky about the food; she avoids Italian restaurants like the plague because "they don't measure up to the real thing"... except for Gisa that is. When an Italian says that, you're kinda forced to head over and try what they're talking about.

I did many times over and loved it. Great food, decent prices and nothing to complain about. However, the last two visits left us disappointed and wanting with greasy pizza laying flat on the bottom of the plate under a layer of grease, soggy tiramissu and extremely slow service...

I'm not sure I'll be going back again at this point... it used to be good with the owners sitting there watching things and the foreign cook keeping tabs on quality. None of them was to be seen over the last two visits .. that's probably got a lot to do with it...

you'll be missed Gisa, but there are plenty of other spots around..
