Review of [CLOSED] Mirch Masala
It sounds melodramatic, but after eating at Mirch Masala on Sunday night, sharing a paneer masala, dal makhani, saffron rice and nan bread, I went home and threw up my dinner. The food was so rich, each dish having at least a few tablespoons of clarified butter on it and the nan bread only half cooked that it was too rich for my stomach to handle (and I am not a picky/queasy eater). In addition, they are very pushy about suggesting starters and drinks, standing over you and suggesting different things over and over and unlike any other restaurant in Beijing they won't allow you to have free hot water. There are many other better choices of Indian food in Beijing and I will not be going here again.
