Review of Pizza Buona
4

After four months of living in our neighborhood, my girlfriend and I finally decided to try a pizza at Pizza Buona. We weren't so sure because every time we walked by, it was completely empty. Low and behold, the lack of people has become one of the many things we love about it. The decor isn't anything to brag about but it's very comfortable. We've visited them about five or six times now and have had a great experience with the staff and food every time.

As far as pizza, they offer 9" 12" and 16" crusts. A wonderful medium crust that I'm guessing is baked in a fire oven. The prices are on par with other comparable pizza chains. (small=40rmb, large=75rmb) The flavor of the pizza isn't as bold as I'm used to but with some pepper, hot sauce, and/or parm it's just wonderful. I've become a bigger fan of their spicy chicken wings. I loved wings back in America but haven't found any in China that I love. That's until I tried the wings at Pizza Buona(rmb=20). They are thick and full of meat and spice. Just wonderful. My girlfriend always orders the Caesar salad(20=rmb) and allows me to use her dressing for dipping of my wings.

Though we enjoy their food and service, we enjoy the fact that we can go there to eat at almost anytime and not have to share the room with anyone. But the more we eat there, the more we want them to not go out of business. So, if you're looking for a great pizza, wonderful wings, and a getaway from the hustle and bustle of Beijing, please visit this hidden gem. Pizza Buona.
