Been to bitapitta many times as I used to live in the area.
I've never had anything less than excellent food and great, friendly service in a relaxed environment.
I honestly have no clue what qiaoqiao is talking about with regards to the smell.
Of course all restaurants should serve "fresh" food, but that's simply not the case in this town. Not sure what makes me feel the food here is any more fresh than other high quality places....perhaps its the decor, the lighting, the light nature of the dishes....but the fact remains that when I think of this place 'clean' and 'fresh' are what comes to mind.
I'd say you'll spend 50 kuai per person for an average dish (plate of hummus/falafel/shwarma) plus a soft drink.
